Story

Mike Simmons found his passion for woodworking and carpentry at a young age. In 1986, he turned his passion into a career by starting Simmons Quality Home Improvement, Inc. Mike and his brother Kevin were the original employees, followed soon by Arthur Menzel. Simmons now includes many talented people, each of who contribute their own unique talents to the organization.

Over the years, the business has continued to evolve but many of the faces have stayed the same. In 2015, one of Mike’s daughters Maribeth joined the team. She brought a fresh outlook to the game and stood side by side with her dad pushing the growth of the business. While Maribeth was pushing growth, Marc, Mike’s youngest son was finishing up his engineering and management degree in New York. Not long after graduation, Marc joined Simmons bringing yet another fresh set of eyes and a new perspective.
