A walk-out basement was transformed into a media center complete with a bar. Painted white paneling wraps the room and entertainment area. Radiant heat warms the space under limestone tiles. The fully-stocked bar is clad in walnut and topped with the same limestone for the counters.

The new kitchen houses plenty of drawers for the avid cooks. Two dishwashers hide behind panels for easy clean-up when entertaining. The microwave is also hidden behind a "flipper door" and custom pull-out cabinets hide pantry items. The nearby butler's pantry holds the wall oven, warming drawer, wine refrigerator, bar sink, and overflow kitchen storage. The white cabinets were repeated in the adjoining family room as display cabinets to either side of the custom marble fireplace. The TV is hidden inside a sideboard topped with a walnut counter. It lifts up out of the cabinet to view.
