The Many Lives of Leaded Glass
The leaded-glass doors of this china cabinet began life almost a century ago
as library windows for a Cape Cod girls' school. While browsing in an antiques
store 20 years ago, Nancy and Bob Bradley discovered the windows, leading to
their second life as the exterior windows of their barn-home's dining room.
Recently, renovations to the house reconfigured the kitchen and the dining room,
and the windows moved inside. With the lead repaired and reframed in cherry,
the windows now are in their third incarnation as doors for the twin glass-shelved
cherry corner cabinets gracing the dining room.
