The interior of this Thimble Island "hut" was designed to feel like the inside of a boat. Features of this quaint retreat include a kitchenette with gas burning cook top, honed black granite counters and mahogany cabinetry. The sleeping loft has mahogany built in beds with drawer storage below and is accessed by a mahogany and Spanish cedar ship’s ladder. The project was designed by Simmons and the cabinetry and ship's ladder was fabricated by the River Mill Company.
