About Simmons Quality Home Improvement
Simmons Quality Home Improvement, Inc. was started by Michael J. Simmons in 1986. Mike and his brother Kevin were the original employees, followed soon by Arthur. The company now includes many talented carpenters and cabinetmakers, each of who contribute their unique talents to the organization.

The majority of our projects are located in south-central Connecticut although many examples can be found farther afield. Our offices are located in Clinton, Connecticut where the company barn houses not only our Simmons-designed and built offices but our millwork shop, the River Mill Company. All cabinetry, trim, and distinctive millwork for our projects are manufactured at our shop.

Simmons Quality Home Improvement, Inc is a U. S. EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm. The company has fulfilled the requirement of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) section 402, and has received certification to conduct lead-based paint renovation, repair, and painting activities pursuant to 40 CFR Part 745.89.
